Corporate Holy Spirit Prayer

What To Expect

This is a time of coming together to pray in the Spirit by praying in tongues. Each person brings a supply of the Spirit, adding strength to the prayer. As we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, the prayer leader will give directions in English. Our prayer in unity and one accord becomes a powerful corporate anointing and a mighty army of the Lord! We pray out God’s mysteries, secret truths, and hidden things.

            1 Corinthians 14:2 "For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries." 

Sometimes when we pray we don’t have the proper understanding or the wisdom about the particular situation we are presenting before God. This is when we can pray in tongues knowing we are praying God’s perfect will. 

              Romans 8:26-27 "So too the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness;  for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the Holy Spirit what His intent is, because the Spirit intercedes and pleads before God in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will."
